The fifth annual Wilkes:
Barre General Hospital
Golf Tournament will get
underway at noon on
Thursday, Aug. 18 at Irem
Temple Country Club,
Dallas.
This year’s tournament
will feature a “shotgun”
format, allowing all golf-
ers to conclude play with
plenty of time to prepare
for cocktails and dinner.
Upon conclusion of play,
all golfers will open an
envelope drawn at regis-
tration. Each envelope
contains a key, one of
which will unlock the doo:
to a 1983 Renault Alliance,
Motor - Trend Magazine's
“Car of the ‘Year.’ In
addition, a 1983 Alliance
will be given to the first
golfer shooting a hole-in-
one on the 17th Hole
A $125 donation includes

defeating Twin Cities 12-8
behind a 13-hit attack.
Ron Rybak ‘gave up only
six hits’ in Sunday’s win
while his ilawks were
taking 10 hits off the losing
hurler Frank Stanek.
In the June 11 game,
Tom Evans drove in three
runs on as many hits in
five times at the plate.
Dave Kerdesky had two-
for-three, Craig Yanchick
had two-for-four and
