Assistant High School
Principal of the Lake-
Lehman School District,
has announced the top ten
scholastic students of the
1983 graduating class.
Anthony Javer, son. of
Mrs. and Mrs. William A.
Javer of R.D. 1, Harvey's
Lake, has earned the
honor of class Valedicto-
rian. He plans to attend
King's College after grad-
uation to pursue a Bache-
lor of Science in Computer
Science.
Joyce R. Stiefel is the
daughter of Janice R. Rus-
sell of Lehmoand and the
late James R. Stiefel. Her
interest in the Chinese lan-
guage has led her to be
accepted at Georgetown
~ University, where she will
major ‘in foreign lan-
guages. Joyce has served
this year as historian of
the distinction of being
named Salutatorian.
Lawrence R. Stash, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Stash of -R.D. 5 Shaver-
town, will attend Penn
State University this fall.
He wishes to earn a Bach-
elor of Science in electri-
cal engineering.
Nikki Evelyn Devens,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Nicholas Devens, Sr. of
Dallas R.D. 4, will attend
Penn State University,
Wilkes-Barre Campus, to
begin her studies toward a
Bachelor of Science in
mathematics.
Philip Martin Winter is
the son of Fred Winter of
R.D. 2 Dallas, and the late
Hazel Winter. He plans to
attend the Rochester
(N.Y.) Institute of Tech-
nology to study Graphic
Bachelor of Science
degree.
Rebecca Lee Stryjewski,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Thaddeus Stryjewski of
R.D. 5 Shavertown, plans
to pursue a doctorate in
clinical psychology. She
will begin her. studies 2

Services.
Susan Michaels will
major in Nursing this fall
at College Misericordia.
She is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. William s.
Michaels of Oak Hill in
Dallas.
Kevin Straka is the son
