The Back Mountain Jay- C-ettes recently honored two very active and dedi- cated women at a dinner meeting on May 16, Carol Honko and Joanie Mar- shall. Both women are moving to different loca- tions. Carol Honko and her family ‘are moving to Clearfield, Pa. She has been an asset to the Back Mountain Jay-C-ettes since she has joined in 1977. Carol has chaired projects, such as Entries (two years) for the Luzerne County Fall Fair, Library Auction, Pictures with Santa, Easter candy sale, and hoagie sale. She served on many other committees throughout her years as a Jay-C-ette. Carol held the offices of Director and President. She has received awards such as Outstanding and Exceptional Jay-C-ette for her cecntribution to the club and community. Carol is married to Tony Honko and has two chil- dren, Tony Jr., 8 and Tracey, 5. Joanie Marshall and her family are moving to Wil- mington, Dela. Married to Chris Marshall, Joanie and Chris have three sons, Ryan, 4 and twins Adam and David, 20months old. but considers Dallas his home. He resides at the White Birch Trailer Court in Dallas.
