The young hurler struck out 13 while walking nine. Julie Adams was cred- ited ‘with the loss for Dallas. In the contest with Crestwood Solinski struck out 17 and gave up only one hit in a nine-inning 3-2 game to hand the Comets their first loss. It was Diane Madl’s single past first in the sixth inning which spoiled Solinski’s no-hit game. Kim Fey led the Knights at the plate with two of the five hits off Comet Tracy Sherksnas. Solinski turned in another one-hit game against, Tunkhannock to lead Lake-Lehman to a 16- 0 trouncing. Sue Gurney was the lone Tiger to col- lect a hit of the Knights stellar pitcher. Results Dallas Varsity Coach Jack Wolensky’s Dallas Mountaineers won their third game of the season last week by taking Wyoming Seminary 7-4 behind hurler Steve Thomas. The Dallas nine played without Tim Grove and Matt Medura, who were injured when they collided while going after a fly ball in the previous day’s game with Valley West. Seminary’s Blue Knights took a 1-0 lead in the first inning but the Mountai- neers tied it at one-all in the third when A.J.
