THE DALLAS POST, WEDNESDAY, MAY 18, 1983 9 Gate of Heaven Season Ends The Gate of Heaven basketball program involved a number of students from the school and included biddy teams, junior varsity, varsity and cheerleaders. The biddy program is new to the school and was formed to give younger players exposure to the game of basketball and to competition. It was coached by Chuck Reynolds and held on Saturday mornings. The teams competed against one another for the fun of it, and to master the basics of the sport. The varsity program was coached by Mike McGroarty and Chuck Wilson. The team participated in the Wyoming Valley Catholic Eighth Grade league and ended the season with a league record of 7-7. Overall, the boys landed a 10-11 record for the entire season.
