What a lovely time we had. The program. began with the pledge to the flag followed by a rendition of God Bless America by the students and parents. Somehow, there’s nothing quite like the sound of three and four year olds singing. Following several addi- tional songs by the chil- dren, a delicious lunch of party sandwiches on pastel bread, potato chips, cook- ies, mints and punch was served. The tables were decorated with placemats and teapot Mother’s Day cards made by the chil- dren. Each mother received a begonia to take home. Special thanks to Mrs. Audrey Lockhart, Mrs. Nancy Odell, Mrs. Nancy Higgins and Mrs. Sally Dodson for delightful tea. =O: Diane Watchulonis, daughter of Charlotte and Donald Watchulonis of Elizabeth Street in Dallas has been named to the 1982 edition of Outstanding Young Women of America.
