Dr. Richard A. Shipe,
superintendent of Dallas
schools, has requested the
cooperation of all parents
who have children of
school age that have not
registered for the 1983-84
school year.
It is essential that the
school district be in-
formedof all new students
who are planning to
register, especially the
kindergarten students.
Problems occur with
class assignments and
transportation when
students are registered
late.
He said the Dallas
School Distsrict . en-
courages all parents of
new students or those
transferring from other

A benefit clothing -sale
will be held Saturday

‘Older Americans
Month’ is being observed
throughout the nation and
members of the Kurkle
and Noxen United

joined in the opening of
‘the month’s celebration
with the ringing of church
bells. Jason Harding did
the church bell ringing

the Noxen UM Church;
Jay Thornton handled the
matter at the Kunkle UM
Church.

Stan Hamilton, director

the SOS ministry, its need

special program to be
held Thursday evening,
May 19, at 7:30 under
auspices of the program
committee of the Kunkle

senior music therapy

clarinet in her recital. Her
