Brownie Girl Scout Troop 436 of Centermore- land held its annual ‘Fly- up last Tuesday when these four Brownies ad- vanced in scout ranking: Barbara ' Winters, Marissa Rae, Kristin Davis and Rhonda Wall. Members of the Brownie Troop also feted Miss Niki Cheskiewitz at a farewell party. The Cheskiewitz family is moving this week to take up residence in Quakertown. Ten members of the troop also attended the presentation of ‘The Princess and the Magic Pea,” at College Misericordia, Dallas, on Saturday, April 23. Mrs. Emily Considine is troop leader. Trudy Cevasco, 36 Longdale Ave., Shavertown was recently honored with the Silver Award, the second- highest given in the Girl Scout structure. Trudy received the | award upon completion of | a demonstration speech in her English class, on Lever methods of pitching a tent. Trudy, a junior at Dallas High School, has been a Girl Scout for 10 years. She is presently a member of Senior Troop 634, led by Marian Lamoreux. As a scout, she has enjoyed resident camping No. 6 (ap ia Fag, GIFT , at Camp Louise in Ber- wick and participated in the Canadian Exchange Program in 1981-82. She was one of 16 girls to take partin this program that year. Trudy, 16, has par- ticipated in and counseled at the Penn’s Wood Girl Scout Day Camp held at Irem Temple Country Club. She also spent two years as an assistant Brownie leader. Her activities extend beyond scouting, however, as she is an active member of the band, chorus, drama club and steering committee at school. On April 12, Trudy received her Silver Award and celebrated with fellow troop members at a covered dish dinner. Trudy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Chapple. Rep.
