' Festival of Music Members of the award-winning Lake-Lehman High School Band are anxiously preparing for their annual competition trip to the ‘‘Festival of Music” in Ocean City, Md., on April 28, 29, 30 and May 1. The band will compete in concert, field show, outdoor guard and parade contests. A booster bus will accompany the band. Distant Thunder A Distant Thunder, a Mark IV Pictures Incorporated production, second in a series on Bible prophecy, will be presented on Sunday, May 1 at 7 p.m. at the Mooretown Assembly of God Church, RD 1, Sweet Valley. A Distant Thjunder, a 78 minute color film is a sequel to Mark IV Pictures’ release, A Thief in the Night, shown on April 24. It beins where A Thief in the Night ended. The film answers many of the questions raised by other recent motion pictures. Events foretold in the Bible as part of the Great Tribulation are vividly portrayed in A Distant Thunder. Childbirth Classes Wilkes-Barre General Hospital will begin its third series of prepared childbirth classes on Monday, May 2. The seven-week course is held each Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and is taught by registered nurses from the ob- stetrics and pediatrics departments.
