Crane, son of Calvin and Nancy Crane of Route 7, Crane Road, Shavertown, has completed recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. During the 11-week training cycle, he learned the basics of battlefield survival. He was intro- duced to the typical daily routine that he will ex- perience during his enlist- ment and studied the personal and professional standards traditionally exhibited by Marines. Navy Seaman Recruit Craig S. Bennett, son of Anita C. Bennett of Centermoreland, Pa., has completed recruit training at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill. During the eight-week training cycle, trainees studied general military subjects designed to prepare them for further academic and on-the-job training in one of the Navy's 85 basic oc cupational fields. Included in their studies were seamanship, close order drill, Naval history and first aid. Renee Yuscellis is one of the 15 finalists who will compete for the title of Pennsylvania Credit Union Youth Ambassador on April 22 in Philadelphia. A member of the Natonal Emloyees Federal Credit Union, she is employed as a business education teacher at Canton High School. A graduate of Lake Lehman High School and College Misericordia, she holds a bachelor of science degree in business education. Yuscellis, 22, is the daughter of William and Bernadine Yuscellis of R.D. 1, Harveys Lake. She will represent the Wyoming Valley Chapter of Credit Unions in the Youth Ambassador Contest. Chapter contest chairperson is Susan Makos, treasurer of the U.F.C.W. Local 72 Federal Credit Union.
