They also have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Barilla is retired. Navy Seaman Recruit Christopher N. Gidula, son of Nicholas and Mar ie Gidula of 491 Slocum St., Swoyersville, has com- pleted recruit raining at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill. During the eight-week training cycle, trainees studied general military subjects designed to prepare them for further academic and on-the-job training in one of the Navy’s 85 basic occupa- tional fields. Included in their studies were seamanship, close order drill, Naval history and first aid. Personnel who complete this course of instruction are eligible for three hours of college credit in Physical Educa- tion and Hygiene. 1 DICKO & RALPH’S CAFE Dart League--The Sailors took a 3-1 win over the Steelers to nail down the second half champion- ship. and take the all season championship as they also took the first half.
