PASTOR SPEAKS AT PENN STATE: Rev. Lynn H. Rothrock, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shavertown, presented a talk to a religious study class at the Lehman campus of Penn State. Students in Dr. Frederick J. Stefon’s class entitled “Introduction to the Study of Religion” heard Rev. Rothrock discuss Karl Jaspers’ philosophical essay on the message, life, and influence of Jesus. Rev. Rothrock is a member of the Advisory Board of the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Campus. The Harveys Lake Bassmasters, at a recent meeting, finalized plans for their third = annual youth trout derby, on April 16 at Harveys Lake. As in the past, no fee is required to enter the derby, and the age groups will be 11 and under and 12 through 15.
