John Feyrer, Wyoming Valley West High School senior, was recently chosen “Student of the Month” for January in a program sponsored by the Kingston-Forty Fort Lions’ Club. John has been selected to play the male lead, Fred Graham, in the Wyoming Valley West school musical ‘Kiss Me, Kate.” John is also a member of Spartan Singers. Other school activities involving much of John’s time are being the sports editor of the ® school newspaper, West Side Story; staff member of Interim, the school’s literary magazine; letter winner in swimming, cross-country, and track; recipient of the local Century III Leadership award; chairman of the student council canned food drive; and captain of the boys swim team and cross-country team.
