The classes will be held on six Wednesdays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Leh- man-Jackson Elementary School. The course is open to fathers and mothers and to single parents of children of the Lake- Lehman School District. The course focuses on those communication and parenting skills which will enable parents to listen so children will talk; talk so their children will listen, and solve problems so that no one loses. The course recognizes that parents are significant models for their children for many acquired behavioral and attitudinal patterns, including drug and alcohol behaviors. Mrs. Ennis believes that parents can be taught skills to help them help their children develop positive self-concepts and valuable skills for living.
