daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Henry - Novroski,
Swoyersville. Matinas is
the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Friday. They were
married on Feb. 11, 1939,
by the late Rev. Martin

ville. Mrs. Santee is the
former Florence
Innamorati of Swoyers-
ville. Santee is also a
Swoyersville native.
Their attendants were
Flora Innamorati Bed-
narick, twin sister of Mrs.
Santee and Albert Santee.
The Santees are the
parents of three children,
Mrs. Catherine Contento,
N.J.; Mrs. Lynda Matysik
and Francis, Swoyers-
ville. They also have three
grandchildren.
Santee is retired from
the Sordoni Co., Forty
Fort, where he was a tree
foreman and executive
officer of Union Local
1319.

Eddie Bailey, well
known musician who
played for many of the top
big time bands such as
Les Brown and others is
recuperating at his
brother Paul Bailey's
home on Lackawanna
Avenue, Swoyersville.
Eddie was recently a
surgical patient at the
NPW Hospital.
Eddie has been playing
at the Pocono Mount in
the Poconos for the past
several years and is a
talented musician. We
wish him well.
Brother Paul is also
recuperating as he had a
little setback a few
months ago. He is coming
along fine and he can’t
wait for the good weather
to come around to see
most of his friends again.
Paul doesn’t get around
as much as he used to. It
will be good to see both
Eddie and Paul up and
around.

In a three point win the
Eagles had Jack Baines
hitting 284, while Kevin
Donlin had a 314 for the
Flyers. The Gutterettes
were led by Kim Giza 398,
Cassie Petroski 352 but,
to win two points behind
Frank Okonski 314. Brian
Tosh became the second
bowler to hit a 200 game in
the league. Brian had
games of 152-200-145-497,
this is a new three game
high and with Xavier
Evans 365 took four points
from the Pin Smashers,
who had Sue Valatka
smashing the pins for a
big 372 total. Raiders won
four points.

series of Jazzersize

Usually when the cat
goes away the mice will
play, or when the boss
goes away, the employees
will play, but not so in the
Pugh House. Pappa Jim
took a week’s vacation
and he and his youngest
son, Dave, spent a week in.
Miami, Fla. and visit
various other sights along
with Jim’s brother, John
and his family.
When they came home,
they found out his wife,
Vivian and the other four
boys, Lewis, Jamie, Mike
and and Tony didn’t have
time to play around. They
got together with a few
friends and fixed up the
