ship auditors held a
reorganization, Jan. 4, at

work on the audit of 1982
receipts and expenditures

Early in 1982, Common-
wealth Telephone Enter-
prises, Inc., (CTE), a
conglomerate of com-
munications companies
from Dallas, and Rui
Lopes Associates (RLA),
a multinational manage-
ment and telecommuni-
cations management con-
sulting firm from Sunny-
~ vale, Calif., entered into
vices of Rui Lopes as chief
executive officer of CTE.
The purpose of the agree-
ment was to conceive and
‘place in motion a long-
range reorganization plan
for CTE.
A.J. Sordoni, III,
Chairman- of CTE, and
Rui Lopes, president of
RLA, have jointly an-
nounced that Lopes has
performed his services to
significantly =~ improved
operations performance
of CTE for the year 1982.
Effective Jan. 12, Lopes is
resigning as president
and chief Executive
Officer of CTE. A.J. Sord-
oni, IIT has been ap-
pointed to the additional
positions of president and
chief executive officer of
CTE. Lopes will continue
to assist CTE as a
management consultant
to the chairman of the
board.
