Northmoreland Volun- teer Fire Company will meet Tuesday evening (Jan. 11) at 8 in the new fire hall in Centermore- land. Work on the new firehouse is progressing nicely and fire company members are looking forward to a formal dedication in early Spring. Charles Goble is president of the fire company. Joseph Buzunis, stationed with the ' Air Force at the Griffis Air Force base at Rome, N.Y., is recuperating at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Buzunis, Sr. Buzunis is recovering from injuries received in an accident at the Air Base several months ago. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Bowers and daughters, Stephanie and Lynn of Horseheads, N.Y., spent Christmas with Mr. Bowers’ brother-in-law and sister, Rev. and Mrs. James Howell and family of Centermoreland. Other guests at the Howell residence were Mr. and Mrs. Laird Murtoff and daughters Penny and Kim of Gardners, Pa., who re- turned Thursday after several days here. Lynn and Leslie Wolfe spent the holiday weekends with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Parrish of Car- verton. Lynn is associated with UGI at Valley Forge. Leslie is a senior at Notes Rev.
