brate their 34th wedding
anniversary this Satur-
day. They were wed on
Jan. 1, 1949.
Mrs. Amos is the for-
mer Helen Drobenak,
daughter of the late
George and Anna
Drobenak of Swoyers-
ville. Amos is the son of
the late Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Amos,
Swoyersville.
The Amos’ are parents
of a daughter, Sheila
Roccogrande of Wilkes-
Barre.
Both Mr. and Mrs.
Amos have been active in
the No. 2 Brodericks Fire
Company for many years.
Mrs. Amos is also the Trip
Chairman of Sacred
Heart Senior Citizens,
Luzerne.
Mr. Amos is a retired
miner.

LEONARD VILEWIN-
SKI, 92 Sullivan St.,
Swoyersville celebrated
their 22nd wedding an-
niversary this past week.
They were married Dec.
26, 1960 at St. Mary’s
Church, Swoyersville by
the late Rev. Anthony
Lewandowski. Mrs.
Vilewinski is the former
Stella Stefanoski.
Mr. Vilewinski is em-
ployed at Rex Shoe Co.,
Inc., Exeter. :

celebrate their 30th
wedding anniversary this
Monday. They were wed
Jan. 3, 1952, with the late
Msgr. John Sobota per-
forming the marriage
ceremony at Sacred
Heart Church, Wilkes-
Barre. Mrs. Podskoch is
the former Barbara
Hudak of Wilkes-Barre.
Their attendants were
Theresa Herwitz
Shemanski, Ray Pod-
skoch, Martin Podskoch
Jr., Mrs. Mary Scripp,
Bernard Chimock, Helen
Macey Renieg, Al Hizny
and Dorothy Stavischak.
The couple are the
parents of six children,
Theresa, manager of the
cafeteria at Boeing Air-
craft Inc., Philadelphia;
William, employed at
Nesbitt Hospital; Mrs.
Barbara Jo Asklar,
Swoyersville; Michael,
employed at Nesbitt
Hospital; Joseph Jr., and
Susan, both at West Side
Tech in Pringle.
Mrs. Podskoch is
employed with Shop Rite
Store, Kingston. Mr.
Podskoch, is a car
salesman at Valley
Chevrolet Co., Kingston.

and social club Christmas
Party last week at the hall
on Oliver Street, Swoyers-
ville, with over 120 in
attendance. Head bar-

Alunni, Max Chipego,
did a fantastic job in
serving the big crowd.
Everyone enjoyed them-
selves and they are
‘already talking about
next year’s party.
