    Lamoreaux Auto Parts
captured straight season
honors in Division One of
the Back Mountain Slo-
Pitch Softball. League,
finishing with a straight
season record of 18 wins
and four losses, while
Farmers Inn, which
finished with a straight
season record of 13 wins
and eight losses, took
honors in Division Two.
In Division One,
Hearthstone Pub and
Pizza Bar tied for second
place honors with straight
season marks of 17 ‘wins
and five losses each.
Pizza Bar captured fourth
place and the last spot for
postseason playoffs with a
record of 16-6, two games
ahead of Overbrook Inn
and Villa Roma, which
finished the straight
season with marks of 14-8.
In Division Two,
following Farmer’s Inn,
Irene’s and Mr. Donut
with marks of 10-12 each
finished in the No. 2 and
No. 3 spots, and Noxen
Texaco with a straight
season mark of 8-13
captured the fourth
playoff spot.
Post season playoffs in
both divisions were
scheduled to get un-
derway last evening at the
Lehman diamond com-
plex with first place
Lamoreaux Auto Parts
meeting the fourth place
Noxen Rebels and
Hearthstone Pub taking
on Pizza Bar, both of
whom finished the
straight season with
identical 17-5 records.
In the Division II
playoffs, first place
Farmer’s Inn was
scheduled to meet fourth
place Noxen Texaco and
Nick Tseolis’ Mr. Donut
squad was scheduled to
take on Irene’s.
