supervisors will meet
Monday evening at 7:30 at
"the home of the board’s

Tunkhannock Road,
Bowman Creek. Board
Chairman James Sickler
will preside. Among items
on the agenda is the
adoption of an or-
dinmance changing
names of several town-
ship roads as follows:
Route 320 to be named
Petton Road; Route 354
and 356 to be named Old
Highway Road.

School, ‘Neighborhood
Bible Time,” recently at
Noxen Independent Bible
Church where Rev. Jerry
Tallent is pastor. Classes
were held Monday
through Friday for
children from pre-school
age through college.

assisted by a corps of 16
teachers and a trio of
women, who were in
charge of refreshments.

Noxen Volunteer
Ambulance Association is
Sunday afternoons at
Hanson’s Park, Harveys
Lake. Proceeds are being
used toward the purchase
of the new ambulance.
Noxen Bluejays softball
team held a successful
bake sale on Saturday at
Siglin’s Garage in Noxen.
The 29th annual
McMillan family reunion
was held Sunday at
Dymond’s Grove with a
large number of family
members in attendance.
Laura and Jim Russell
hosted the July coffee
fellowship Sunday
morning following the
worship service at the
Noxen United Methodist
Church.
Sunday School at St.
Luke’s Lutheran Church
had a float entered in the
annual Noxen Firemen’s
Theme of the
Praises to God!” Par-
