Last week many young
ladies attended the Cheer-
leading Clinic sponsored
by the Dallas High School
Cheerleaders. Under the
very capable direction of
Mrs. Mary Ann Storz,
girls 6-12 learned the ins
and outs of becoming a
cheerleader. On Thurs-
day, a pep rally was held
to show parents what the
girls learned. Proceeds
from the Cheerleading
Clinic defray the cost of
sending the Dallas cheer-
leaders to summer camp.
This year’s Back
Mountain Memorial
Library Auction is just
around the corner, So
don’t forget to keep the
weekend of July 8-11 open.
Joe Killeen, chairman,
has donated one of the
Newman dolls which will
be for sale at the auction.
Previous auction goers
remember that Mrs.
Newman’s dolls always
pepped up the bidding.
Make plans to attend this
year’s auction. It’s lots of
fun and the money goes to
a good cause.

when it’s performed
under a big top in their
hometown. A special
