Watkins opened his dental practice next to McCrorys in the Shavertown Shopping Center with one dental nurse. Four years later he was joined by Dr. Leonard C. Medura and his partnership expanded. During the next few years the doctors and increasing staff out grew the office and this resulted in the construction of their present, new facility - The Back Mountain Professional Building on Route 309. The dental practice presently consists of four dentists and twelve full time support and den- tal personnel. A full range of comprehensive dental care from pediatric to geriatric dentistry is offered. With this type of service in mind, the 4500 square foot office was constructed at ground level. This easy access, without any stairs, allows them to care for the physically handicapped as well as those confined in wheel chairs. The technique employed by Dr. Watkins and Dr. Medura to cap teeth has received wide ac- claim, and other dentists visit the office regularly to observe the procedure. "Continuing education is also a very important part of the office philosophy. In this regard the doctors and staff recently attended an intense six day seminar in Reno, Nevada that covered the newest concepts in dentistry. ‘When asked to what they owed this extraordinary growth, the doctors had no special an- swer other than that they and the entire staff try to do their best and try to treat the patient as they themselves would like to be treated. | “Super Special” WHITE BREAD 2/%*1.25 PASTIES 89°.. | {t MARIE'S BAKE SHOP | 94 SHOEMAKER ST., FORTY FORT 287-1593 Mfrs.
