Spring Mini Session Luzerne County Community College has slated its Spring mini session to begin on Monday, May 17, through Friday, May 28, on the main campus in Nanticoke. Three-credit courses in the business, humanities and commercial art areas of study will be offered. Tractor Pull and Horse Show The monthly meeting of the Lehman VFD Ladies Auxiliary was held recently. Plans were made for the annual tractor pull and the horse show to be held the end of June and beginning of July. The ladies discussed the many varieties of food that they would be selling at their { v «7 beque dinner in September, along with a raffle. Anyone wishing to join the auxiliary is welcome to attend our next meeting on May 20, at the Lehman Fire Hall, at 8 i Fiddling Competition A Fiddling Competition, held in conjunction with the 8th annual Back Mountain Folk Arts Festival, will take place on June 6, 5:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds, College Misericordia. Open to musicians of all ages, the fiddlers will be judged on originatlity and skill. Two prizes will be awarded.
