The Mountaineers are
strong at the plate,
producing good hitting by
Dave Burnaford, Paul
Brace, Steve Bestwick,
Mike Ramirez, Clarke
Lewis, Steve Federici,
and Jerry Rollman. They
also have a strong de
fense. Wolensky is con-
cerned about Federici’s
pitching since the senior
has been having problems
with his shoulder. The
Dallas coach will not put
Federici on the mound
until he is certain the
pitcher’s arm is better.
He does have Lewis, who

yesterday. Little
Leaguers, who desire to
play with any of the
following teams in the
league, are reminded they
must register by Satur-
day: Noxen Athletics,
Kunkle Indians,
Beaumont, Centermore-
land and Orange.
Another planning
meeting for officers,
managers, assistants and
umpires will be held
Wednesday evening, April
14, at 7:30 at the former
Beaumont School. All
teams are requested to
have representatives in
attendance.

of team managers and
representatives of the
new Sunday softball
league for the Back
Mountain will be held this
evening at 6:30 at the
Waterfront, Harveys
Lake. It is requested that
all teams have their $65
entry fees; good faith
deposits of $50, and initial
team rosters at tonight’s
meeting.
