JOHNYNE J. SUPULSKI, M.D., director of Wilkes-
Barre General Hospital’s Emergency Department, has
become board-certified in emergency medicine. Dr.
Supulski who has headed the department since 1977,
earned degrees at Wilkes college and the Medical College
of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American
College of Emergency Physicians and Luzerne county
Inter-Hospital Disaster Committee, is active in
Emergency Medical Services of Northeastern Pennsyl-
vania, and a Board member of the Luzerne County
Sch 00 1 Boar d S American Heart Association and Women Organized
Association In-Service Against Rape (WOAR). A Wilkes-Barre native, Dr.
Training Award of Supulski resides in Dallas with her husband and three

its annual dinner Monday,
Oct. 19 at the Holiday Inn,

Miss Major has retired
as a psychologist “and
educator. She started the

class for the mentally
retarded in Allentown as
well as the Custer Street
program for the retarded
