Walters, 62, of Terrace Ave., Trucks- ville, died Tuesday Aug. He was born in Easton, son of Earl and the late Mary Dougherty Walters. A graduate of Easton High School, he was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corps. Interment was in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Lawrence L. Crispell Lawrence L. Crispell, 74, of RD 1, Floral City, Fla., died Monday, Aug. 24 in Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, Fla. Born Sept. 15, 1906 in Noxen, he was a son of the late: George and Marion Weltman Crispell, and had been a resident of Florida 22 years. He was formerly employed at the Armour Leather com- pany, Noxen, and was dairy farm at RD 1, Noxen. Crispell was a member of Bowman’s Creek Free Methodist church. MOELWYN (PENN) WILLIAMS, RETIRED POLICEMAN, DIES Moelwyn (Penn Williams, 72, of Pole 175% Harveys Lake, died Monday, Aug. 24, at Wilkes Barre General Hospital, where he had been a patient ‘three weeks. He was born in Danielsville and had resided at Harveys Lake for the past 19 years. He previously had resided in Wilkes Barre for many years. Williams served for over 25 years with the Wilkes-Barre Police Department, retiring with the rank of Sergeant. “He later served as a Luzerne County deputy sheriff and also worked in the troller’s Office. Active in Wyoming Valley athletics, Williams served for many years as football and basketball official, at both the high school and Professiongiiy levels. During World War II, he served with the Coast Guard. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre, Landmark Lodge No. 442, F & AM, Wilkes-Barre, Keystone Consistory, Scranton, Irem Temple, and the F.0.P. Lodge of Wyoming Valley. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the United Penn Bank. He is survived by his wife, the former Olive Linda W. Wilson, Forty Fort; sisters, Mrs. Bloewyn Richards, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Olwen Webb, Jackson- ville, Fla.; three grand- children. Funeral services were Thursday, Aug. 27. The Rev. Dr. James A. Baker, pastor of Forty Fort United Methodist Church, officiated.
