A Shavertown man was
cited by Dallas Borough
police last Friday after he
allegedly ran from the
scene of an accident. -
Cited was Geare Lee
Booth, 22, of RD 7, Box 83,
Shavertown. Four wit-
was driving south along
Rt. 415 at a high rate of
speed when he attempted
to pass in a no-passing
zone and hit two other
cars proceeding in the
same direction.
John Pendleton, 29, of 35
North Loveland Ave.,
Kingston Borough, said he
was struck from behind
by = Booth. Richard
Braden, 37, of RD 2,
Hunlock Creek, told police
he was hit by Booth after
Booth hit Pendleton.
Police said that after
Booth exited his car he
threw several beer cans
into the woods nearby and
then ran into the woods
himself. Booth told Ptlm.
Jim Fowler he did not
know what happened.
