Squier will observe their
50th wedding anniversary
on June 7 with: Open-
House from 2 p.m. until 5
p.m. Friends and neigh-
bors are welcome. No
invitations have been
issued.
The couple was married
in the Elm Park Chapel,
Methodist © Church,
Scranton. Rev. Henry H.
Crane performed the
ceremony.
Mrs. Squier is the
former Helen May
Montgomery, daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs.
John Montgomery of
Sharpe Street Kingston.
She is a graduate of
Kingston High School and
Mansfield State Teachers
College. Before marriage
she taught at the Schuyler
Avenue school in Kingston
The regular monthly
meeting of the British
Women’s Club will be held
Wednesday, June 3, at the
home of Julie Rogowski.
Co-hostess is Jan olesar.

evening will be a

Methodist Church will
present ‘a Candlelight
Concert © under the
direction of Brian W.
Davey, music director of
the church.
The ‘‘Spring Music
Festival’ will feature
music for organ, brass,
choir and congregation.
Music composed by J.S.
Bach, Couperin, Gigout,
Handel, Marcello, Parry,
and R.V. Williams will be
included.
Guest soloists include
Christine Donahue,
Kingston
native and graduate of
solo compositions. Also,
the Ted Veremeychik
Brass Ensemble will
perform with organ, and
organ and choir.
Several of the selections
include music from the
coronation of Queen
Elizabeth II in 1953, “The
Old Hundredth Psalm
Tune”, by R.V. Williams
and “I Was Glad”, by C.
Hubert Parry. Music for
the organ alone includes
J.S. Bach’s famous
“Toccata and Fugue in D
minor” and the ‘“Toccata
in B minor” of Gigout.
