NOTES TO FINANCIAL STATEMENT

NOTE 1--DUE TO DALLAS AREA MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY
Under an agreement with the Dallas Area Municipal Authority, the Township is required to make payment to
the Authority for delinquent sewer rental accounts. Amounts billed to the Township for delinquencies as of
December 31, 1980 and 1979 were, according to the Dallas Area Municipal Authority, $23,065 and $18,520 respec-
tively.
NOTE 2--EDA GRANT FUND
The Township entered into a contract with the Economic Development Administration of the U.S. Department of
Commerce for a grant for renovations to its municipal building. As of December 31, 1980, the project was com-
pleted. The entire $398,000 grant funds have been received and disbursed. The general contractor received final
payment in 1979. No reporting of this grant is enclosed due to the fact that the entire grant is under a separate
report.
NOTE 3--TRANSFERS
In 1980 and 1979, the Township deposited directly into its General Fund checking account monies received for the
Police and Volunteer Firemen Pension Funds. These monies were then disbursed to the various funds accounted
for separately.
NOTE 4--RESTRICTED FUNDS
The equity of restricted funds is to be used for the following purposes:
Police Pension Fund-Restricted trust fund from which expenditures may be for police pension and death
benefits only.
Highway Aid Fund-Restricted to expenditures relating to roads and streets.
Community Park Fund-Restricted to expenditures for the community park project.
Revenue Sharing Fund-Restricted to allowable expenditures under federal revenue sharing regulations.
EDA Grant Fund-Restricted to expenditures for municipal building renovations.
Capital Reserve Fund-Restricted to expenditures for capital outlays.
