program at Dallas High

John has been a
member of the Dallas
High School band for the
past ‘six years as a
trumpet player. He also
plays in a jazz band,

the high school band
members who play for
dinners and banquets.

In his leisure time, John
is a member of the
Kingston Twp. ambulance
and the Trucksville Fire
company. He also enjoys
swimming, hiking,
camping, playing
baseball and especially
listening to music. His
favorites are recordings
by trumpet = players
Maynard Ferguson and
Chuck Mantione.
As a traveler John has
visited most of the eastern
coast states and admits he
particularly likes Florida.
Good comments
flourish from John for the
Dallas academic program
which he says ‘‘has a fine
academic program--e-
process of rebuilding the
band, offers a good music
program to the students.”
However, he does say
he would like to see the
administrators re-eva-
luate the music program
so students could benefit
more from that depart-
ment.
The only suggestions
John has to make about
more benefits: for the
students of Dallas is that
certain elective programs
such as a swim team and
other such programs
would be appreciated by
the students. He also feels
the students should be
able to select ‘courses
more freely.
