w ® A hearing will be held before District Justice Earl Gregory on Friday, April 18, at 2:30 p.m., for William Thomas Hughes, 24, of Meyers Street, Edwardsville. Hughes was arrested by Kingston Township Police, April 12, and charged with criminal trespass, simple assault, and resisting arrest. The report stated Hughes would not stay away from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rauh, Bunker Hill. Investigating officer Gary Beisel sustained an injury during the arrest of Hughes when Hughes resisted and fell on Beisel’s knee. The policeman is on crutches and will miss several days duty. Two car collision - A Kingston Township Police Chief Paul Sabol reported a two car collision occurred on Vonderheid Street, Trucksville, April 14. However, this accident had a new wrinkle since both cars were without operators. A vehicle owned by Ellsworth B. Karshner, Jr., 62 Vonderheid St., drifted down ‘the road and struck a vehicle owned by Donald Meade which was also unoc- cupied and parked in the Meade driveway at 58 Von- derheid Street. Vandalism at Meadowcrest Kingston Township police report vandalism continues at the Meadowcrest Housing Project with the\latest in- cident occurring on April 9. The project's maintenance superintendent, William Stukroat, reported three win- dows were broken overnight. Officer Jim Wisniewski is investigating. Hubcaps stolen Dallas Borough Police Chief Ed Lyons reported a two car accident occurred April 8 at 7:55 p.m. A vehicle driven by Kathryn A. Vengrzrnek and owned by the Sisters of Mercy attempted to cross Route 415 from Machell Avenue to enter Lake Street. The car collided with a vehicle driven by Anthony Bonovino, 20, of Har- veys Lake who was traveling toward the lake on Route 415. The woman was taken to the Mercy Hospital by the Dallas Ambulance for treatment of injuries. Bonovino was not hospitalized, according to the report, but com- plained of pain while at the scene. Shotgun reported stolen Dallas Township police blotter indicated a burglary which allegedly occurred between March 9 and 15 at the Modaire Trading Post, Fernbrook. The incident was not reported until April 15. Joseph Reina, owner of the Modaire Sporting Goods Store, which has since closed reported theft of a 12-gauge Parker shotgun valued at $300 and one Weaver scope valued at $30. Officer Tom Lewis is conducting the investigation. Two burglaries in two days Two burglaries occurred at Kunkle Motors within days of each other. On April 11, Kunkle Motors owner, Daniel Meeker, reported a motor and brake cable from a 1980 Yamaha motorcycle along with a 1980 cycle headlight and name plate were stolen. He set the value at $140. Officer Elliott Ide investigated the incident. Again on either April 13 or 14, Meeker reported a brand new Yamaha motorcycle engine and assorted parts were stolen off of two of his 1980 cycles. Total value was $3,000. Patrolman Tom Lewis is still investigating the theft. Dallas Borough Police Chief Ed Lyons reported no criminal arrests were made in the April 8 to April 15 period. The only incident reported during that time oc- curred on April 14. Mrs. Malcolm Miller of Orchard. West, Newberry Estate, reported the theft of two hub- caps. She told investigating officer Sev Newberry she was not sure as to when on April 14 the theft occurred.
