ment Council of Penn-
sylvania (EPDC) was
held in Harrisburg on
Nov. 19. Howard J.
Grossman, executive
director of the Economic
Development Council of
Northeastern Pennsyl-
vania (EDCNP), was
elected president for a
second term; Louis A.
Vidic, Southwestern
Pennsylvania Economic
Development District,
was elected vice
president; Dennis E.
Robinson, Susquehanna
Economic Development
Association Council of
Governments, Lewist-
own, was elected
secretary; and George
McKelvy, Capitol Region
Planning and Develop-
ment Agency,
Harrisburg, was elected
treasurer.
The organization was
established in September,
1978 for the purpose of
coordinating the
operation of economic
development and plan-
ning regions in the
Commonwealth of Penn-
sylvania on a statewide
basis. It has been
organized to undertake
projects of a multi-region
or statewide nature and
serve as an organization
for exchange of ideas
statewide
organizations.
