FLOWER BALL--Mrs. J. Franklin Robinson, president of
the Mental Health Association in Luzerne County has
named Mrs. Ronald A. Maturi (above) chairman of the
Flower Ball affair to be held on Saturday, May 12, at the
Westmoreland Club from 7 to 11 p.m. with open bar until 8
p.m. The evening will include cocktails and gourmet
cocktail buffet with Lee Vincent Music. The event is open
to interested persons and reservations may be obtained by
balling the office of the Mental Health Association at the
“Kirby Health Center. As a citizens advocacy organization
supporting all phases of research, education and
legislation in the field of mental illness, proceeds from the
affair will benefit local programs of the Mental Health
Association.

committee for the upcoming 1979 United Way fo Wyoming
Valley campaign. In this volunteer capacity, Schuler
shares the responsibility of recruiting, training, and
evaluating the effectiveness of management persons, who
are ‘‘loaned” to United Way by their companies during
the UW campaign. On the board of directors of UW
‘member agency, the Wyoming Valley Chapter of the
American Red Cross, he is also president of the executive
committee of Luzerne County Cooperative Extension
Service and a member of the Wilkes-Barre Kiwanis and
the4-H development fund committee. President of Penn-
sylvania Millers Mutual Insurance Company, Schuler and
his wife, the former Eva Dunning, reside on Hilldonia
Avenue.
