John Coulton, senior, is in the spotlight at Lake- Lehman High School this The son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Coulton of Harveys Lake, John has three brothers and three sisters. His oldest brother, Frank, lives in Bristol. His sister, Debbie, is married and sister, Joann, has her own apartment in Noxen. John moved to this area with his family when he was in fifth grade from he P| -. Mrs. Josephine Kotch, extension home economist for Luzerne County will conduct the program. She will offer suggestions of foods that can be served as appetizers, gelatin foods for salads or desserts and punch beverages. A varitey of napkin folds will also be demonstrated. Participants will have the opportunity to taste the food prepared. 5 interests include dining out and movies. He also likes music, preferably the Beatles and soft, mellow music becoming popular once again. He is a member of the Varsity Club at school. He likes Lake-Lehman High School because everybody knows everybody and they are all very friendly. During the past several years he believes that the students have more freedom and also have a wider selection of subjects from which to choose. John said that he thinks there is less school spirit than in past years and much less interest ‘in athletic events on the part of students. Following graduation, he social studies and return to the school to coach basketball, his first love. McCartney, Elmcrest Drive, Dallas, Lisa has two brothers, Dennis, married to the former Susan Rhinehammer; and Brian, graduated and working. Lisa is a former member of both the JV and varsity cheerleader squad. In her junior year, she was named queen of the Junior Prom held at Gus Genetti’s. She also served on the junior class steering committee and worked as head of fundraising project and on various prom committees. She also was inducted into the Honor Society during her junior year. This year Lisa is vice president of the senior class and a member of the senior class steering committee. She also was a member of the Homecoming Court, and in the honor society is in charge of putting together a scrapbook of the society’s activities. When Lisa is not busy with school activities, she works part time at the Hut Card and Gift Shop. She is very interested in art and takes private lessons with Sue Hand.
