DAMA
closes
: The board of the Dallas
held its regular monthly
meeting on Thursday,
March 9.
The board was informed
by letter from CRM
Associates, insurance
company of Builders of
Sanitary Sewers, that if
DAMA reimburses BOSS
for work done on project 1-
€, Stonehedge, they would
be in no way liable for
damages inadvertantly
done during construction of
the sewers.
When the Stonehedge
project ‘was being com-
pleted, a pipe running
between the properties of
Tucker Graham and Jim
McGuire was damaged
causing some water
damage to their homes.
CRM Associates letter
informed DAMA that if
Graham and McGuire can
establish a case their claim
will be paid. It was ex-
plained that this situation
was to be handled between
the insurance company
and the claimants:
Robert Parker made a
motion to have solicitor
Merton Jones prepare a
letter explaining the
situation and send it to the
claimants, along with a
copy of the letter from
CRM Associates, and also
to close out project 1-C,
Stonehedge.
A discussion was also
held concerning the pur-
chase of additional in-
surance coverage for flood,
and water damage to the
building and equipment.
Previous water damage to
equipment amounted to
$8,000 which was not
