Beatty attended a seminar
for state veterinarian,
while Mrs. Beatty and Mrs.
Blizzard visited Mrs.
Beatty’s mother, Mrs.
Furman Hallman, in
Media, Pa. They also
visited Mrs. Carlos Munoz,
who has been residing in
Philadelphia near her son,
Leonard Munoz, who has
been a patient in Lankenau
Hospital in Philadelphia
since eary in September.

Top Salesman
Debbie Paltrineri of
Centermoreland was the
top ‘salesman’ for the
Brownie Girl Scout Troop
436 of Centermoreland in
the recent Girl Scout
cookie sale. She sold a total
of 138 boxes of cookies.
Altogether the 19 members
of the Brownie troop sold a
total of 1128 boxes of
cookies.
Other Brownies, who
sold more than 100 boxes
each were Kim Considine,
who sold 123 boxes; Pam
Brunges, who sold 108
boxes, and Gerri Cook, who
sold 105 boxes. Mrs. Emily
Considine is scout leader of
the troop.

came home Friday after a
17-day stay at Geisinger
Hospital, Danville. The
well known and well-liked
school bus driver is con-
valescing at the home of
his brother and sister-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Bennett in Cen-
termoreland. Walt ex-
pressed thanks and ap-
preciation, to his many
him with cards and
prayers during his stay at
the hospital.

a.m. Sunday School service
