It’s very discouraging to
hear that the 60-year-old
Santa Claus that graced

has been stolen) from the
front door. A lot of kiddies

that jolly man.

(which in itself is a
miracle) and everyone was
in a joyful mood.
The boxes came tum-
tree was stabbed together,
lights were tested and still
everyone was merrying.
Not bad considering three
children working together
and a husband who kept
having to stop his own
project because, “Vin this
set of lights went out
again.”
Now if you are anything
like me-you want the tree
just so. Every branch is
covered with a spray of
lights, ornaments covering
the spray of lights and
garland covering the or-
naments. In other words,
no room for the green to
show through.
Well after eight hours of
telling ‘‘Adele, tone down
on the organ,” ‘Louis, I
don’t care how terrific
‘Kiss Alive’ is’”’ and George
please go visit Aunt Yo,”
we finished decorating the
tree and number 1-it’s
standing straight. Number
2-it looks pretty nice,
Number 3-we’ll be the only
family who has their tree
up till Easter...tis the
season!
