Evans, Shavertown, have
announced the engagement
and approaching marriage
of their daughter, Leslie
Frances, to Dr. Philip A.
Pomerantz, son of Atty.

Pomerantz of
Philadelphia.
Miss Evans graduated
from Dallas Area Senior
High School, and College
Misericordia with a B.S. in
nursing. She is pursuing a
master’s degree at
University of Pennsylvania
and is employed at Thomas
Jefferson University
Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Pomerantz is a
graduate of Central High
received his B.S. degree
from Penn State
University. He is a
graduate of Thomas
Jefferson University School
of Medicine, and will
complete a two year
Fellowship in nephrology
in July.
The wedding wll take
place on Sept. 30.
