Kunkle plans
The annual chicken
supper of the Kunkle Fire
Co. will be held May 21, 5
p.m., at the Kunkle
Community Hall.
Temple Country Club. A
cash bar will be available,
and a few select articles
will be auctioned off. Music
for dancing and your
listening pleasure will be
provided by Mary Lee on
the organ.
Mrs. Lee is an ac-
complished pianist, having
studied under Professor
John Baur for four years.
An accident to her hand
resulted in the loss of her
tenkeys stretch, and her
scheduled concert in 1946
was cancelled. This
resulted in her entering the
world of finance and
business, and she was later
employed by Wyoming
National Bank, the former
Deposit & Savings Bank.
The public is invited to
attend this kick-off dinner,
thus giving the staff of the
auction committee your
whole-hearted support in
their efforts to make this
the most outstanding
auction ever to ‘be held.
Auction Chairman Kerry
Freeman, and his co-
and Don Rood are working
hard toward this
possibility. :
Tickets for the dinner are
$10. and can be purchased
from any library board
member or any member of
the auction staff. Reser-
vations deadline is set for
