MAGISTRATE
of the Holy Spirit. And she
shall bring forth a son, and
thou shall call his name
Jesus; for he shall save his
people from their sins.
Behold, the virgin shall be
with child, and shall bring
forth a son, and they shall
call his name Immanuel,
which, being interpreted, is
God with us’ (Matthew
1:20,'21,23).
Jesus is the real meaning
of Christmas, and
according to the angel of
the Lord, Jesus is
Immanuel or God with us.
God reminds us in Isaiah
53:6, that ‘‘all we like sheep
have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own
way...”” We have all turned
every one to his own
way...”” We have all turned
our backs on God because
of sin and we stand
condemned before God for
our wicked ways. We could
no longer go to God, he had
to come to us in the person
of Jesus Christ.
C aroling Merry
Christmas and
thanks to our many
kind patrons.

God ‘“‘hath in these last
days spoken unto us by his
Son,...who, being the
brightness of his glory, and
the express image of his
person, and upholding all
things by the word of his
power, when he had by
himself purged our sins,
sat down on the right hand
of the Majesty on high”
(Hebrews 1:2,3).
The glory of Christmas is
not just that the God-Man
came to this earth, but why
he came, to ‘save his
people from their sins.”
God speaks his message
clearly in Acts 4:10-12, ‘Be
it known unto you all, and
to all the people of Israel,
that by the name of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth, whom
ye crucified, whom God
raised from the
dead...Neither is there
salvation in any other; for
there is no other name
under heaven given among
men, whereby we must be
saved.”
He that believeth on the
Son hath everlasting life;
and he that believeth not
the Son shall not see life,
but the wrath of God
abideth on him’ (John
3:36).
The wonderful message
of Christmas is that God
has offered to mankind his
greatest gift, forgiveness of
sins and eternal life in his
Son, Jesus Christ. Like any
gift it must be taken in
order to be received.
We at the Community
Church of Dallas trust you
will make this your best
Christmas ever, by asking
Jesus Christ, the Man-God,
to save you from your sins.
