There will be home made soup, Wimpies, hot dogs, ete. on sale all day. The @uxiliary would appreciate donations of baked goods. Craft Group met recently at the Back Mt. paper drive The Back Mountain Kiwanis Club of Shaver- town will hold its regular ekly meeting Oct. 30th at 8:30 a.m. at the Mark II estaurant in Dallas. following the meeting, members of the club will participate in which is a major project of the club. The drive will be conducted at the Shavertown Methodist Church Parking Lot from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The group will be collecting glass, newspapers, and card- board for recycling. Members and wives of the club members attended the installation dinner for the state governor and his board at Williamsport on Saturday evening Oct. 16th. GJuxiliary to hold party The auxiliary of the Shavertown Fire Company will hold a Halloween party, Sunday, Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. at the fire hall. Entertainment will be provided by the Dallas Woman’s Club Chorale under the direction of Mrs. David Wojciechowski and organ music will be pro- ficed by Mrs. Russel Parsons. An informal tea will be held in the school cafeteria following the show. While our youngsters viewed the movies ‘and stuffed themselves silly with popcorn and candy, we were able to catch up on some breathing. Happy to note that Betty Marquis is recuperating at home after being a surgical patient at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
