double ring ceremony.
The bride, escorted by
her father, was attired in a
formal gown of ivory
chiffonette over peau
taffeta. An empire bodice
featured a high rounded
neckline with a fitted collar
and full bishop sleeves with
lace inserts tapering into
wrist ruffles.
A sheer neckline insert
of swiss net was adorned
with Schiffle embroidery
daughter, Mrs. Vickie
Price, of East Brunswick,
N.J. They also have four
grandchildren.
A reception will be given
by their daughter im-
mediately following the
renewal of vows in the
parish house until 3 p.m.
No invitations have been
issued. Friends of Mr. and
Mrs. Brown are welcome
to the service and recep-
tion.

matching streamers.
The bride’s mother was
attired in a romance blue
Qiana formal gown,
fashioned with a deep V
neckline, self cumberbund
and long sleeves enhanced
with a cuff of matching
Ostrich feathers above a
bell shaped skirt. She wore
a gardenia corsage.
Miss Ellen Marie
Parker, the bride’s sister
was maid of honor. She
chose a burgundy formal
silk knit gown fashioned
with a high-rise loose
bodice featuring a scoop
neckline, long full sleeves
with a set-in sash at the
front of the waist and was
semi-velted displaying a
free flowing backskirt. Her
headpiece was a Gatsby
pictures hat accented with
streamers matching the
gowns of the bridesmaids,
which were identical in a
dusty rose shade. Each
attendant carried two pink
roses with baby breath and
ferns and pink lace
streamers. The
bridesmaids | were Miss
Patricia Peters,
Philadelphia,‘ a cousin of
the bride; Mrs. Robert
Bayer, Jr., Shavertown
and Miss Joan deQuevedo,
Virginia Beach, Va.
William Strinkoski,
brother of the bridegroom,
was the best man. Daniel
Chergosky, William
Cooper, a cousin of the
groom, and Edward
Gaughan; were ‘ushers.
James A. Parker, Robert
B. Parker, Anthony
Joseph, Thomas C. Culley
and Robert Bayer, Jr.
chauffered the wedding
party to the Holiday Inn,
Wilkes-Barre, where a
dinner reception was held.
The groom’s father
hosted a rehearsal dinner
for the bridal party at the
Castle Inn, Dallas.
Mrs. Strinkoski is a
graduate of Dallas High
School and received an
associate degree in general
studies from Keystone
Junior College, La Plume.
Strinkoski is a graduate of
Ashley-Sugar Notch High
School and Wilkes College,
Wilkes-Barre, where he
received a bachelor of arts
degree in economics. He
served as an officer in the
United States Army for five
years.
The couple will reside in
Phoenix, Ariz. after taking
a motor trip to New
Orleans, La., for their
honeymoon. He has
accepted a position with
S.S. Kresge, Inc., Phoenix,
Ariz. ;
Nita Perry
marries
Announcement is made
of the marriage of Mrs.
Nita: (Williams) Perry of
Bodle Road, Carverton, to
Donald Moser of
Weatherly. which took
place Saturday evening in
Carverton UM Church. The
Rev. Paul Bauer, pastor,
performed the ceremony.
A reception followed in the
church social rooms.
The bride, daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Al-
bert Williams, Jr. of
Trucksville, was given in
marriage by her brother,
Sheldon Williams of
Trucksville. Mr. Moser is
the son of Mrs. Ethel
Young of Weatherly.
Attendants were Mrs.
Faye Perry, Carverton,
sister-in-law of the bride,
and Charles Andrews of
Weatherly.
Lee Giroux will be
instructor for a Production
Management Workshop to
be held on Nov. 17, 18, 1976
at the Wilkes-Barre
Campus of The
Pennsylvania State
University, Lehman.
The course will provide
enrollees with an
opportunity to understand
the integration of
production managers with
planners, controllers,
expediters, tool ‘control
specialists, factory
supervisors, buyers and
personnel.
The latest production
management techniques
will be studied and there
will be an opportunity to
share ideas and
experiences with other
supervisors and managers.

accepted until Nov. 11 and
complete information is

theastern Philharmonic

Endowment for the arts
has awarded $15,000 to the
Philharmonic for its 76-77
season.
