The scout troop has been
collecting paper once a
month since April and is
now ready to. conduct a
wide scale drive; Proceeds
will be used for new troop
camping equipment and a
trip to ‘Washington in
October.

will be offering. an in-
service course for credit
entitled, ‘Teaching with
Television.”
Initially the course will
be available for -all
elementary and secondary
teachers as well as
supervisory personnel in
the school
districts under I1.U. 18’s
jurisdiction.
"The course is intended to
stimulate the interaction
between students and
teachers through the
proper utilization of ITV in
the classroom. Teachers
should then be better able
to utilize TV within their
curricula.
Tentative dates for the
five-week course are
Thursday evenings, Oct. 7
through Nov. 4. More
information or registration
for the course, are
