holding training sessions
for a new program called
“Parent to Parent’.
The program is being
initiated by LUZARC
because the group felt that
a tremendous gap existed
makes the diagnosis of
retardation and the agency
which provides services for
the mentally retarded.
Because of this reported
gap, many parents do not
reach an agency and
therefore many children do
not receive services.
Any parent of a mentally
retarded person who would
like to participate as a
volunteer for the Parent-to-
Parent program is urged to
contact the LUZARC office
