In a marathon girls softball game, May 3, the Dallas Yankees edged the Shavertown White Sox, 21- 20 on a bases loaded walk in the eighth inning. The extra inning game was pitched by Chris and Joni Dombek for the Yankees and a trio of Koleen Morgan, Kim Reese and Cathy Newhart for the White Sox. Koleen Morgan and Missy Owens knocked out the only doubles in the Wame.
