UGI Corp. this week
reported that earnings
applicable to common
stock increased 21 percent
to $5,451,000, or $1.34 per
share, from $4,516,000,
equal to $1.10 per share, for
the first three months of
1975.
/Net income increased to
$5,864,000 from $4,516,000.
Operating revenues rose 21
percent to $60,259,000 from
$49,977,000.

Cub pack 155 of
Trucksville held their April
meeting at the Trucksville
United educational
building. The opening was
the pledge to the American
Flag.
Theme for the month was
“The Circus”. Booths were
set where games and tricks
were played, Cubs were
dressed as clowns.
Cubmaster John Roman
presented the following
awards. Tim Daran; one
gold arrow. John Roman;
Bear badge. Chris
two silver arrows, and
Bear badge.
Webelos leader, Dick
Montgomery presented the
following awards. Tim
Tamanini; two year pin,
Barto. . Seminary also
scored two runs to make
the score 5-2.
In the third, the black
knights scored three runs
by Long, Crane and Booth.
Then Seminary went on a
scoring streak as seven
runs crossed the plate
leaving the score 10-8 Sem.
Lehman scored one run in
the fourth on a double by
freshman Lisa Allardyce
while Seminary came
through with seven more
runs.
The Knights scored six
more in an attempt to close
in on the lead leaving the
score 17-15 at the bottom of
the 5th.A scoreless Knights
inning in the top of the 6th
and a rally of 8 runs for
Sem. sewed up the game
for the Blue Knights. Lake
Lehman scored only one
run in the top of the 7th on a
double by Long. Final
score was 25-16.

commissioned
Navy ensign
William R. Bradbury,
son of Mr. and Mrs.
William J. Bradbury of 112
Davis St., Trucksville, has
been commissioned a Navy
ensign upon graduation
from Aviation Officer
Candidate School at the
Naval Air Station, Pen-
sacola, Fla.
The 16-week course in-
cludes instruction on the
fundamentals of
aerodynamics and
engineering, aviation
physiology, mathematics
and general military
subjects. It is designed to
prepare students for more
than a year of intensive
ground and inflight
training leading toward
their designation as naval
aviators.
College with a bachelor of
science degree in electrical
engineering, he joined the
Navy in September 1975.
