Take a minute and stop and look at these windows during Girl Scout Week, March 7 thru 13. Junior Girl Scout Troop 636 toured WVIA Channel 44 studios on Feb. 16. Miss Donna Jarmus of In- structional Television Department was the Troop Guide. A short in- troductory film was shown and the troop viewed three sets and experienced the workings of television equipment. The troop met Miss Carol, was photographed with her and received and autographed picture of her. At the next regular troop meeting new patrols were set up and patrol flags were planned. The new patrols are: Super seven Patrol, Lisa Robinson, patrol leader; Universal Patrol, Laura Shelby, Patrol leader; Musical Patrol, Tracey Thomas, patrol leader; and Shooting Star Patrol, Laura Wright, patrol leader. For Thinkind plans and on Feb. 23 the troop visited Brownie Troop 650 at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Sweet Valley Junior Girl Scout Troop 348 held their annual Mother-Daughter Tea on Friday, February 27 at the fire hall. Tammy Fey led the pledge of Allegience, Lori Marsh led the Girl Scout Promise and Suzanne Sabaluski led the Girl Scout Law. On that day at 5 p.m. all Girl Scouts in the United States will light their candles as a special bicentennial memorial service on the birthday anniversary of Girl Scouts, U.S.A.
