Like an elastic band, that ball was pulled, yanked, dumped from basket to basket. To the cheering, yelling, screaming, stomping of everyone, Gate of Heaven in the last half of the fourth quarter with a half minute to go wins 83-82. And as the coaches, teachers, and parents were being given mouth-to-mouth resusitation the players and cheerleaders were jumping for joy. If I knew that I would get so carried away with these projects my children get involved with, I would have married at an earlier age Oak Hill (like ten). Snyder, executive director of United Cerebral Palsy of Pennsylvania. Robert Rexroad, who has been active with the Wyoming Valley Unit of United Cerebral Palsy for the past three years, will be responsible for the co- ordination of public information and public relations for United Cerebral Palsy of Pennsylvania, which services 20 united Cerebral Palsy affiliates and two service committees. Amy won in the 10-and- under age group on the balance beam and floor exercises. The team is coached by Karen Earl, of Cen- termoreland, a 1972 School. Rexford was named to the volunteer position in view of his work with United Cerebral Palsy of Wyoming Valley, which included chairmanship of a walk-a-thon that raised $15,000 for the local affiliate. With his work with United Cerebral Palsy, Rexroad was recently appointed to the executive board of the Penn Mountains Council, Boy Scouts of America. The fire company did assist at fires in = neighboring townships and attended to Barre ‘Salute to the Schaefer 500’. several brush and grass fires but no house, trailer or buildings were ravaged by fire in the two com- munities.
