GS books shelved at BMML Back Mountain Memorial Library recently received a denation of about 50 Girl Scout books and pamphlets from Community Association VII in memory of Sharon Carkhuff. : Wednesdays, Nov. 5th -and December 10th at 10 a.m. are ‘‘film times’ for the pre-school storyhour at the library. Nov. 5th the children will see ‘Dick ine and His Cat” ‘The Astronaught”’ and Dec. 10th, ‘Little Drummer Boy'' and “Christmas Cracker”. On Nov. 5th at 10 a.m. Mrs. Jacob Taylor of Goss Manor will give a program on do-it-yourself gifts and decorations for the holidays in the library's main building. Dallas Area High School will be the ‘site of a performance by the Navy, Oct. 31 @ jammer are old ing ships out of the U.S. Navy's history. Well, that’s one definition. The present definition is a new and exciting U.S. Navy jazz stage band. The band is from Newport, Rhode Island. The band will be in Dallas as part of community activities program to show area youth that the service has lived up to its slogan, ‘‘be someone special in the Navy.” The Windjammers will give a free public concert Oct. 31, beginning 2 p.m. The fifteen. piece band was formed in July 1974 to keep the big jazz band the new and modern big band sound. Section A met in the high school gym where first aid techniques were : demonstrated. Faculty members were shown how epilepsy, eye emergencies, bleeding, burns, poison, fractures, and athletic injuries.
