Zl Ad Alp 1 i Local girls attend sport camp Dallas and Lake-Lehman High School girl hockey players were among the 100 high school athletes who attended Ruby Car- mon’s Back Mountain Sports Camp during the past two weeks. The camp,’ Troxell Switch, Outlet, was divided into two one-week sessions with 50 girls attending each week. Each week an All-Star team was selected by the coaches and a game bet- ween both teams was played last Thursday af- ternoon. Billed as ‘‘a total exper- ience in sound and light”, the show consists of four hours of the latest rock music played in an atmo- sphere of nearly over- whelming light. The three-man group uses color organs, strobes, a bank of light projectors, and a truck-load of sound equipment to produce the effect. Over 1200 record- ings are tied in to the light effects. The show will be held in Merrick Hall at Miseri- cordia from 8 to midnight. Admissions will be $3, with tickets available at the door or in advance by con- tacting the college. In the Ladies Country League, T. Langdon’'s 176 was high for the evening. She led Fashion Vending in shutting out Daring's Market. Luzerne National and Grotto split 2-2. David Ertley Inc. blanked G. H. Harris. The Commonwealth Telephone Co. Mixed League opened with the Wheel Bearings taking all from the Oil Gauges. The Flat Tires blanked their nameless opponents.
